Notes
1. Unlike earlier versions, McAfee VirusScan 6.0 and higher do not include an on-demand virus scanner that is compatible with WinZip's virus scanning feature. The SCAN32 module is no longer included. An on-demand scanner named SCANPM.EXE is included, but it does not always produce results in a format that WinZip can access; this can cause WinZip to report that no viruses were found when, in fact, a virus was detected and reported.
Therefore, McAfee VirusScan 6.0 and higher are not compatible with WinZip's virus scanning feature. If you are comfortable using a resident virus scanner, you may want to use McAfee's Active Shield product instead. See the McAfee web site for further information.
2. Does not run on Windows 95.
3. Does not run on Windows 95 or Windows NT.
